Shukra is a bespoke apparel house that celebrates the quiet luxury of craftsmanship, culture, and personalization. Founded by Anu Taneja, the brand draws its name from dual inspirations: the celestial planet Venus in Indian astrology, symbolizing beauty, refinement, and sensuality; and the Arabic word Shukr (gratitude), reflecting the soul of the brand: mindful, intimate, and full of reverence for both tradition and artistry.

At Shukra, every garment is a co-creation, tailored not just to fit the body, but to reflect the essence of the person wearing it. Whether clients come with a vision or just an occasion, our team translates moods and stories into exquisite made-to-order ensembles. With a commitment to detail that borders on obsessive (think red vs. maroon bead debates) our in-house karigars, hand embroidery artisans, and designers ensure every piece is finished to perfection.

Beyond design, Shukra offers refurbishing of heirloom pieces, thoughtful accessory styling, and a luxury client experience from consultation to post-delivery alterations. Our studio and showroom in Sultanpur, is a physical embodiment of our aesthetic: elegant, rooted, and timeless.
